Prue King has been drawing and painting local scenes since she moved to Abbots Langley with her family 27 years ago.  She particularly likes drawing old buildings of which there are still a quantity in and around Abbots Langley.  She was able to use many of her pen and ink drawings in the production of the Abbots Langley 2000 Calendar, which also commemorates the birth of Nicholas Breakspear (Pope Adrian IV) in the parish in AD1100.

A selection of Prue's sketches are available for purchase at Society meetings and other local events.  Her paintings are often to be seen in local exhibitions.

Prue kindly permits the use of her sketches on the cover of the Society Journal.
