This is the story of a London schoolboy whose school in Hampstead, London was evacuated to Abbots Langley in World War 2. The story was originally published as a booklet by the Abbots Langley Local History Society in 2004 and is now republished as part of the Abbots Langley V80 Commemoration of the end of the Second World War. This new edition includes an additional section with information on new research of Kindertransport and other evacuees to Abbots Langley.
