Christine Sheffield Polk has put together an illustrated history of the Sheffield's shop based on material from the archive they built up over the past 75 years or so. Christine, who lives in the USA, is Hugh Sheffield's daughter and she appears as a young girl in photos of the shop in the 1950s. The hardback book was given to the ALLHS as an acknowledgement for the input given to Christine while writing it and has been lodged in the Abbots Langley Library under the Reference section.
